Job Description

About Canva and our Foundation

At Canva, we’re on a mission to empower the world to design. We’re democratising design because we believe that everyone, everywhere, deserves the ability to express their ideas and unleash their creativity.

Core to this mission is how we can have a positive impact on the world through our Foundation. The Canva Foundation’s mission is to Be a Force for Good by bringing the best of Canva to help solve global challenges in the most impactful way possible.

The best of Canva is our core product, our users and our team. Inspired by a team of talented creatives, an amazing culture, and a remarkable growth trajectory - we’re one of the world’s fastest growing technology companies and we have only achieved about 1% of what we are hoping to do, including becoming a global Force for Good through our Foundation projects.

A crucial ingredient to empowering the world to design is education. One way we’re aiming to do this is through our new Canva Foundation Education to Employment Project. This aims to equip youth living in poverty with basic graphic design skills to empower them to get a job in the digital economy and earn a living wage.  This project is in very early stages, so there is amazing potential to shape the future impact and trajectory of this initiative and change the lives of individuals in this program.

Another way we do this is through our more general Design Education that aims to give people who don’t consider themselves ‘designers’ the creative confidence to achieve their goals.

If you’d love the opportunity to contribute to Canva’s Foundation and to a product that is seen and used by over 45 million people across 190 different countries, and our newly formed Foundation, join us! We’re out to change the world, one design at a time.
