Job Description

OVERVIEW
The Senior Talent Intelligence Lead will be aligned to an AWS TA Team (or Teams) and will be responsible for leading and running a market and talent intelligence program that is unique to each team(s) respective AWS lane-of-business. AWS TA Team(s) and their respective lanes-of-business may span a variety of geographies with differing strategic goals and business requirements. The Senior Talent Intelligence Lead will leverage data to work backwards from each customer’s specific needs and create bespoke solutions to close gaps across a variety of talent initiatives.


RESPONSIBILITIES

The role is responsible for defining each program through data analysis that creates unique research projects that influences talent strategies and resource allocation within GTI’s mission, vision, and tenets. Overall role responsibilities include:
· Partner with hiring teams that stakeholders at all levels to understand organizational challenges and build work products that fit into a comprehensive end-to-end recruitment strategy
· Participate in strategic business engagement with a focus on effectively defining a targeted passive candidate sourcing strategy across multiple job profiles within a designated national region, country, or countries
· Provide recommendations as a talent researcher and sourcing subject matter expert that directly impact front-of-funnel activities
· Define a profile-based sourcing strategy across a variety of different AWS business segments
· Drive competitive intelligence research and analysis through various internal and external tools
· Map talent and competitive intelligence through qualitative and quantitative research, and present insights in a compelling way that influences action
· Effectively communicate with key stakeholders to build influence and ensure application of research products with the correct customers
· Evaluate effectiveness of research over time via feedback loops or key metrics unique to each business, and adjust approaches as needed
· Use funnel metrics which impact the business to drive actions and anticipate bottlenecks then proactively work backwards from the customer to produce research collateral that eliminates those bottlenecks
· Independently Analyze and draw conclusions from a mix of quantitative and qualitative data and implement changes with your program as a result
· Manage, prioritize, and close searches against timelines and set benchmarks, metrics to understand how to prioritize sourcing strategies to hit customer SLAs
· Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within AWS’s mission to deliver the highest quality results for the customers
· Share best practices with recruitment teams and partner cross-functionally with other AWS TA Teams to create processes that impact positive candidate engagement
· Successfully write narratives that are both project based (deliverables, timelines, formal tracking processes, etc.) and program based tailored to the audience in order to maximize impact and understanding
· Develop and lead special projects that have an AWS TA Wide that impact at scale
· Amply your customers voices with a data-driven approach during AWS TA organizational discussions to ensure their businesses unique challenges are represented in the decision making process
· Influence and educate peers regarding research and sourcing best practices that lead to successful outcomes throughout AWS TA and Amazon TA

Job Specification

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional or military experience
· 5+ years in recruiting, sourcing, program or project management, research, or consulting experience for a global corporate entity with a high hiring bar
· 3+ years of experience creating market mapping and talent intelligence tools
· 2+ years of building and managing the lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs or projects with considerable country or global impact
· Experience with defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements in the talent identification process
· Comprehensive understanding of the recruitment life cycle with particular expertise in both passive and active sourcing recruitment strategies
· Proficient Excel skills (running and creating functions, pivot tables, charts, etc.) that enables the extraction and processing of data
· Comfortable identifying passive candidates through 3P identification tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Entelo, SeekOut, etc.) and pioneering experimental candidate identification methods (Google X-Ray Searches, event based sourcing, social media, etc.)
· CTS/ATS experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Excellent communication skills, paired with sound business judgment and ability to cultivate relationships with stakeholders/customers at all organizational levels
· Excels in an ambiguous environment while consistently delivering the right results with limited guidance under aggressive deadlines against multiple projects at one time
· Customer obsessed, proactively working backwards from the customers current or anticipated needs to create bespoke solutions to close process gaps
· Self-starting, entrepreneurial spirit with understanding of how to use data and calculated risk-taking to drive innovative change
· Experience in data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, QuickSight, Salesforce etc.)
