Job Description
ABB’s Electrification business is a leading provider of a full range of protection, control and measurement solutions - enabling safer and smarter electricity flow from substation to the point of consumption. We deliver products and systems designed to connect, protect and control electrical systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety for equipment and personnel.
You will play a key role within the Electrification Business area, based out of Moorebank; Australia. Reporting to the Logistics Manager you will coordinate warehouse operations, including receiving, handling, storing and dispatching products, systems and services to customers.
Your responsibilities
Coordinating and handling export shipments, including all documentation for export, customs and quarantine, including documentation for dangerous goods shipments.
Working with freight forwarders to handle specific export requirements.
Receiving and checking off all stock and warranty returns. Inspects returned goods to see if they are returned in an acceptable condition.
Using software to configure routers and servers as per the customers’ requirements.
Working with inventory manager to coordinate the supply of products through transfers to our sub-contractors.
Working with the warehouse supervisor to help optimize warehouse capacity, inventory and floor utilization.
Ensuring warehousing operations including packing and storage, replenishment, picking, loading and dispatching are executed in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
Working with the logistics and quality manager to help coordinate and implement quality projects into the warehouse.

Job Specification
Your background
Tertiary qualified in Logistics or Supply Chain.
At least 3 years’ experience in warehousing.
Experience in emergency lighting and low voltage switchgear products, handling, storage and shipping requirements.
Competency with use of SAP ERP system
Familiarity with standard office computer applications.
Flexibility to adapt & priorities.
