Job Description

Amazon Worldwide Operations is the underlying fulfillment and customer service engine that ensures Amazon creates the same consistent, world-class customer experience every time. We are looking for high-potential, flexible, innovative, and forward-thinking professionals with a strong record of owning and executing strategic, cross-functional projects as well as partnering with other teams to drive key Sustainability programs to join our Australia Operations team.
You will drive programs, partnerships, innovations and features and will lead the sustainability projects. The ability to influence others without authority and speed to execution will be critical to success in this role. The ideal candidate possesses a track record of successful relationship management, program and project management, strong analytical and business acumen, and experience managing reporting and analysis. Great communication skills, Bias for Action, Delivery Results and Think big will be essential to your success. The candidate is a self-starter who will take ownership of program and business problems to create successful result.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Developing a robust infrastructure for carbon free delivery by taking multiple initiatives reaching towards Shipment Zero Goals
· Creating strategy, setting priorities and communicating across business partners and stakeholders
· Translating the customer experience into a logical sequence and mapping our roadmap and program initiatives to measurable business value
· Leading cross-functionally to ensure we implement the business vision and operational goals efficiently
· Working with operations, product, legal and compliance, finance, tech and sustainability team to make prioritization/emulate good practices and conceptualize and implement program and tech interventions.
· Coordinate with team across various regions and geographies to understand the implemented sustainability models in last mile
· Bring creative ideas to enhance the on road and driver experience for differential and carbon free mode of transport.
· Work closely with tech teams to implement long term sustainable solutions fit for carbon free model of transport leading to Shipment Zero Goal of Amazon
· Identify cost saving opportunities and execute raising the bar on customer and partner experience

Job Specification

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· A degree in Logistics, Engineering or a related field
· 3+ years logistics, supply chain or operations experience
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
· Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
· Project Management experience -experience defining projects, collecting requirements, designing process solutions, writing detailed functional specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new software; as well as analyzing cost/benefit of feature selection and communicating results throughout the organization
· Knowledge in Microsoft Office tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Degree in Logistics, Engineering or a related field
· 3+ years logistics, supply chain or operations experience
· Demonstrated experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement
· Demonstrated experience in Project Management
. Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions.
