What you’ll be doing
We are an established plumbing, gas and electrical services business based in Perth, Western Australia, looking for a reliable Social Media Content Assistant and Short-Form Video Editor for ongoing remote work.
We will supply genuine job photos, raw video footage, business information and existing brand assets. The role involves turning this material into clean, professional and engaging social media content while maintaining established premium branding.

Responsibilities:
- Edit approximately three short-form videos per week for Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts
- Select the strongest parts of supplied job footage and turn them into concise, engaging videos
- Add professional captions, text overlays, music, transitions and basic colour correction
- Repurpose each finished video appropriately across multiple platforms
- Write clear captions in natural Australian English
- Create occasional branded image posts, carousels, promotions and service reminders
- Schedule approved content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
- Help maintain a simple monthly content calendar
What we’re looking for
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content formats and audience engagement
- Excellent copywriting, proofreading and brand storytelling skills
- Ability to create or coordinate short-form video, photography, graphics, captions and stories
- Practical experience with content calendars, scheduling tools, hashtags and community management
- Comfortable interpreting analytics such as reach, engagement, views, clicks and audience growth
- Creative ability to present plumbing, construction, workmanship and customer service in accessible ways
- Strong organization, reliability, initiative and attention to visual and written detail
- Ability to work independently online while collaborating effectively with a small business owner and field team
