Sales Representative – South Korea (Contract to Full-Time Opportunity)
Exotic Chillies – Australian Based, Expanding into South Korea
Exotic Chillies is an established Australian company dedicated to producing premium, pure chilli pastes for chefs, manufacturers, and food professionals. As part of our international growth strategy, we are seeking a Sales Representative based in South Korea to lead our market entry and build strong, lasting relationships with new clients.
About the Role
This is a newly created role, offered initially on a contract basis with the opportunity to progress into a full-time position for the right candidate. The successful applicant will:
- Source and secure new customers, with a primary focus on bulk chilli paste sales.
- Build, develop, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Represent Exotic Chillies with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.
- Operate independently while maintaining close communication with our Australian headquarters.
What We’re Looking For
- Fluency in both Korean and English (written and spoken).
- Proven sales experience, ideally within the food or manufacturing sector.
- A strong understanding of the South Korean food industry.
- Experience in trading with Australia is highly regarded, particularly within the food sector.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working autonomously.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

Requirements & Skills
Language & Communication
- Fluency in Korean and English (written and spoken)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong relationship management abilities
Sales & Business Development
- Proven sales experience, ideally in the food or manufacturing sector
- Ability to source, negotiate, and secure new customers
- Experience in trading with Australia or handling international clients is highly advantageous
- Understanding of bulk sales processes and commercial client needs
Industry Knowledge
- Good understanding of the South Korean food industry and market trends
- Familiarity with food production, manufacturing, or distribution is a plus
Personal Attributes
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Highly reliable and accountable
- Professional, enthusiastic, and able to represent the brand with integrity
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally as the role evolves
Organizational & Technical Skills
