We are currently going through an exciting phase of growth as we invest in cutting-edge technologies. This position for a Product Owner is one of our most recent additions, dedicated to translating future state product vision and IT strategy into prioritised team roadmaps and backlogs, ensuring valuable changes are delivered with a high level of quality.

As the newest member of our Program Management and delivery team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to clarify the scope of changes, as well as plan and facilitate releases and IT governance processes to ensure transparency and alignment among teams. The Product Owner will also share and celebrate successful deliveries with stakeholders and the wider business.

As ourProduct Owner your key responsibilities include, but not limited to :

  • Managing backlog priorities according to the roadmap while ensuring clear understanding of requirements within the team.
  • Drive planning based on feature priority, strategy, and team capacity.
  • Planning sprints with team input and updating roadmap based on sprint progress, collaborating on adjustments with stakeholders.
  • Owning and defining delivery roadmap while using Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver initiatives and epics.
  • Identifying and handling delivery dependencies, blockers, and risks.
  • Managing release process, stakeholder communications, and change management and conducting regular retrospectives for continuous improvement
  • Managing delivery risks in line with company processes.
  • Tracking team velocity and engagement metrics.
  • Providing relevant reporting on the status of delivery and follow the governance structure.
  • Planning and organising demos, facilitate collection and processing of feedback.

About You:

  • Previous experience as a Product Ownerexperience in a similar role, e.g. Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner, or Delivery Lead
  • Experience in a software development environment working closely with engineers, or previous software development experience
  • Experience working in an agile environment (preferably, scaled agile SAFe, Nexus, LeSS, or other framework)
  • Previous experience working on customer experience based projects for mobile and web
  • Ideally previous exposure to financial services or other regulated environments
  • A natural collaborator, working across diverse teams and stakeholders to define and deliver on a strategy that supports the desired commercial priorities.
