Job Description

The Director of SEO + Content Marketing will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence across SEO and Content Marketing services for Webprofits portfolios of clients.

The role is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is very passionate about SEO strategies and Content Marketing techniques to work with a team of growth marketers to both build success and attract new DTC clients to our portfolio.

Requirements

The role requires the Director of SEO + Content Marketing to:

  • Lead, manage and execute a portfolio of key SEO + Content Marketing accounts at Webprofits, taking responsibility and accountability for delivery of strategy and tactics
  • Set the standard of performance and delivery for SEO and Content Marketing across our portfolio of clients
  • Innovate, experiment and identify tactics that are generating results and strategies that set Webprofits apart from its competitors
  • Successfully rank clients on Page 1 for their identified keywords and build out full funnel content marketing approaches to build qualified traffic to our client’s websites
  • Manage the overarching approach to Link Building at Webprofits working with partners and assistants to ensure we are building quality and valuable links for our clients
  • Leverage A.I. to build out scalable processes and quality content briefing and delivery of content
  • Deliver on technical SEO optimisation and have a proficient knowledge of technical SEO analysis
  • Be proficient in Google Search Console, GA4, ScreamingFrog and SEMRush
  • Support and assist in new business pitches that pertain to SEO and Content Marketing, and receive commissions against new business and retainer upsells
  • Act as a mentor to other SEO + Content Marketing consultants at Webprofits, providing feedback on strategy and tactics
  • Stay up to date with Google trends, algorithm updates and lead the way in delivering high quality white-hat SEO
  • Have a strong understanding of other digital growth channels e.g. Google Ads, Social Ads, Customer Lifecycle
  • Work with the Chief Performance Officer to deliver the best DTC SEO + Content Marketing strategies and ensure the Performance team is delivering on these expectations
