Job Description

BizCover, a leading online business insurance service in Australia, is seeking a Part-Time Claims Support Officer to join our dynamic claims team. The primary responsibility of the Claims Support Officer is to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the claims team, ensuring that claims are lodged accurately and in a timely manner. Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the claims team, including data entry, and preparing claims files for lodgment
  • Assist the wider claims team in the management of claims, from initial notification to final settlement
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for claim processing
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all claims
  • Collaborate with the claims team to ensure efficient and effective claims handling

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
