As Inventory Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all inventory and inbound activities, ensuring the maintenance of optimal stock levels, streamlining processes to reduce waste, and improving inventory accuracy. In close collaboration with our Finance, Sourcing and Supply Chain teams, you will be leading inventory strategies that align with business goals and drive continuous improvement efforts at our Fulfilment Centre in Altona North.
Your role:
- Drive efficiency and accuracy in inventory control and management processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement inventory strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage the inventory team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Analyse inventory data to identify trends and optimise inventory levels.
- Implement inventory tracking systems and processes to improve traceability and reduce shrinkage.
- Lead inventory-related projects and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
This is you:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably within a similar industry
- Proven track record of improving inventory accuracy and efficiency
- Experienced in using inventory management systems, ERP, Microsoft Office, and Google Sheets
- Collaborator who works well across teams and functions
- Naturally organised with excellent attention to detail
