Why we want you!
We are looking for an experienced Local Heavy Combination Driver to join our Adelaide team located in Regency Park for a full time position.
Our local driver are client facing and representing the company when onsite at small, medium and large sized business and distribution centres. The ability to think on your feet and solve problems/ issues as they arise will provide to be useful when driving routes/ time slots are not met or freight is missing/ incorrect. At times you will be asked to assist the larger operations team in loading/ unloading your truck or assisting with the strapping of the curtains and locking in the gates.
Key requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the Transport amp; Logistics industries
- Confident and well adapted to driving heavy combination vehicles
- Confident in driving and understanding the metro local areas well
- Held an unrestricted Heavy Combination (HC) licence and have a minimum of 2 years of local driving experience
- Road Ranger Gearbox experience essential
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police check
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
