The Purpose:

As a member of the Business Development team within the ConnectID business, you will be primarily responsible for managing and growing strategic partnerships with large corporate and institutional businesses in a planned and coordinated way, in order to support the broader business' objectives and ConnectID's goals.

You will also be responsible for understanding each customer's strategy, their needs, and driving greater strategic alignment against these needs.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate a track record of corporate and institutional sales success, have great relationship building skills, be forever curious and contribute towards a team dynamic. We require someone who can demonstrate great authenticity, is able to build customer rapport, has strong commercial acumen and is a consultative selling champion.

The skills amp; knowledge you need to have:

  • Proven experience driving growth and sales outcomes, preferably within the corporate and institutional sector
  • Deliver amp; exceed against strategic customer growth and revenue targets
  • Build strong senior-level relationships to facilitate consultative selling discussions
  • Think critically and work alongside the wider BD function to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Build compelling value propositions that meet customer needs
  • Effective use of a CRM system to manage information, knowledge, and data about ConnectID customers so as to support effective engagement across AP+
  • Develop, negotiate and manage commercial proposals and contract management to deliver business outcomes
  • Translates strategy into effective operational activities driving daily priorities
  • Curious. Interested in the broader business ecosystem and the impact of the ConnectID solution
  • Continually learning and seeking to improve. Seeks out and responds positively to feedback
