The Humanforce Integrations team is a development team that looks after the 3rd party integrations with MYOB, PayrollMetrics, Xero. We are an essential and collaborative team that often works on greenfield projects with focus on research amp; development and is critical to the ongoing success of the Humanforce business and its customers.

You'll join our integrations squad as a Software Engineer, playing an important role to continue building key integrations for our customers. You'll work closely with senior engineers on building best practices across the team to ensure we continue to build seamless integrations across our multiple product suites and third-party integrations.

This role has a direct business and customer impact, ensuring every customer can seamlessly interact with our entire product suite. You are someone who is passionate about building greenfield projects, enjoys discovery work and thrives on collaborative working, across multiple business groups. You will have the opportunity to work with internal stakeholders for integration changes and releases. This includes the product, security and DevOps teams. As well as liaising with other engineering teams.

• Full Stack Development: Write high-quality quality maintainable and readable code across our services. Contributing to the team's incremental feature delivery in an Agile environment.
• System Design: Build designs and architectural approaches on how to integrate with our complex product suites.
• Pair and teach: Program side by side with team members on tough problems, and clarify understanding with insightful code reviews.
• Tackle Tech Debt: Dedicate time to uplift legacy areas of the codebase, keep on top of configuration and stop dependencies from going stale.
• Code Quality Enhancement: Elevate our codebase's quality by crafting Unit, Module, and Functional automated tests.
• Documentation and Workshops: Support junior developers on best practices when creating documentation.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Product Managers to understand requirements and execute a strategy that aligns with the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial software engineering experience
• Essential tech experience - C#, .Net Framework and experience Cloud Development tooling, preferably AWS
• Experience working on 3rd party integrations
• Managing production issues and troubleshooting in a distributed computing environment
• Experience in managing complex releases to multiple environments in the cloud

• Experience working across integrations with MYOB, Xero or other key accounting softwares
• Experience working with HCM, WFM or Payroll platforms
