About the role:
V2 Digital is hiring a Senior Consultant (Software amp; Cloud Engineer) to join our team. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions that power intelligent platforms and reinvent digital experiences. You will have the opportunity to work at a fast pace, in an agile, creative, and innovative environment with deep technical expertise at your fingertips. What your day will look like:- Design and develop cloud native software using a variety of technologies.
- Develop moderately complex software solutions based on business requirements.
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines and utilising IaC tools for provisioning cloud resources
- Collaborate with product management and engineers to gather and prioritise product amp; customer requirements.
- Complete code reviews with other engineers and provide feedback on code design and implementation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop software that meets business needs.
- Collaborate with architects to help set the direction for the future of the platform.
- Participate in Agile software development process with an emphasis on quality and testing
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with a modern programming language. Familiarity with multiple languages, including Node.js and TypeScript, is particularly well-regarded.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with modern web frameworks and libraries (Preference: React amp; NextJS)
- Proficiency in maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like Bamboo, GitHub Actions.
- Experience with at least 1 public cloud, and familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Cloudformation, Bicep etc
