The Purpose:

Australian Payments Plus (AP+) is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Process Analyst to join our team. As a Process Analyst at AP+, you will play a crucial role in driving process optimization for our business. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, analyze current processes, and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

As a Process Analyst, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission by identifying process improvement opportunities, conducting thorough analysis, and implementing solutions. Your critical thinking skills and expertise will be integral in streamlining operations, improving efficiency, and providing superior customer experiences. By leading process improvement initiatives across the organisation. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify, analyse, and optimise business processes, ultimately helping to achieve our strategic goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership in process optimisation to align with organisational goals.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify areas where process improvements can contribute to long-term success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Analyze current business processes and systems to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement
  • Design and document new, streamlined processes and workflows
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to processes and identify opportunities for further refinement
  • Identify and implement process automation and digital transformation initiatives
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate process improvements and project updates to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of process improvements
  • Spearhead large-scale process transformation initiatives, overseeing change management strategies and stakeholder engagement.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by championing best practices and innovation throughout the organisation.

In order for you to be successful in the role, you’ll have:

  • Significant relevant experience: Likely 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in business process engineering or related roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading large-scale process improvement initiatives and delivering significant business impact.
  • Proven ability to drive change in a complex organisation, with a strong focus on transformational leadership
  • Certification in advanced process improvement methodologies (e.g., Master Black Belt Six Sigma) is highly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and modeling, leveraging tools such as Python, R, or advanced analytics platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in process modeling and analysis tools
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data and processes
