The Role
The Missing Link is seeking an experienced and skilled IT Project Consultant to join our esteemed Solutions Team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the IT Infrastructure industry (preferably MSP experience), with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the role. A broad understanding of technologies such as Microsoft, VMware, Veeam, and Mimecast is essential. We are looking for someone who has experience working within a project management framework, demonstrating proficiency in managing timelines, ensuring high-quality work, and delivering results within budget constraints.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Project Leaders to ensure project delivery success
- Manage project scope throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor and manage project risks
- Drive project success and ensure value is perceived by the client
- Work closely with our sales team to contribute to winning projects and participate in presales/scoping activities
- Ability to facilitate client workshops and project kick-offs
- Determination to see all tasks through to the end and ensure the project is delivered successfully
- Ability to facilitate technical workshops internal/external stakeholders
- Inspired to be a thought-leader and be the go-to person within the desired technical domain
- Take responsibility for project implementation tasks and ensure the work is completed within the agreed project baselines (Cost, Schedule, and Quality)
- Ensure client satisfaction are achieved at the end of the project
- Eye for detail and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Collaborate with the project leadership and internal stakeholders to drive new business/ improvements
- Be proactive with identifying opportunities withing the Solutions team and the wider The Missing Link
- Participate in designing and creating value-add services and processes, align with the success of the Solutions team and the wider business
Requirements
- 3 years'+ experience in project delivery or professional services organisations (preferably MSP)
- Proven ability with deploying architecture based on Solutions Architect designs
- Experience in presales activities
- Facilitate technical training for internal and external stakeholders
- Practical knowledge of project life-cycle methodologies and framework
- Domain/product and deployment experience within following platforms:
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft 365
- Hypervisors VMware/Hyper-V
- Exchange (OnPrem/Online)
- Infrastructure (Cloud/OnPrem)
- Dell product line
- Veeam Backup
- Mimecast
- Current certifications based on technical skillset
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Effective communicator
