The Role
As a Business Development Manager for IT Contracting and Staff Augmentation, you will be instrumental in expanding our client portfolio, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the successful placement of IT professionals in contract and staff augmentation roles. This role requires a deep understanding of the IT industry, strong relationship-building skills, a hunter mindset and a proven track record of driving business growth in the IT contracting and staffing space.
The Person
As an experienced Business Development Manager, with a focus on IT contracting and staff augmentation services you will possess a strong understanding of the IT industry, including trends, technologies, and talent requirements.

We are looking to expand our talent services product in the broader market and looking for an individual to join the practice to take it to the next level.

Accountabilities
Client Acquisition:
Identify and target potential clients in need of IT contracting and staff augmentation services through strategic outreach, networking, and relationship-building.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new clients, understanding their IT staffing needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
Market Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor landscapes, and emerging opportunities within the IT contracting and staffing sector.
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute business development strategies that align with the company's growth objectives in IT contracting.
Talent Sourcing Collaboration:
Work closely with the recruitment team to understand client requirements and ensure the timely and successful placement of skilled IT professionals.
Proposal Development:
Prepare and present compelling proposals, showcasing our capabilities and value propositions to potential clients.
Contract Negotiation:
Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and agreements for IT contracting and staff augmentation services.
Metrics and Reporting:
Track, analyse, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, with a focus on IT contracting and staff augmentation services.
- Strong understanding of the IT industry, including trends, technologies, and talent requirements.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring new clients and expanding business relationships in the IT staffing space.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development roles within the IT contracting and staff augmentation sector.
