In your role as an Account Coordinator, we expect you to:

Client Service
· Understand your clients’ individual PR objectives, their brand, market, competitors and individual products/suite of services
· Build an understanding of both client and BCW best practices and ensure they are adhered to and delivered
Account Handling:
· Ownership of all administrative tasks from reporting to daily monitoring, working efficiently to internal and client deadlines
· Creation of reports across coverage, sentiment and competitor tracking
· Responsible for updating media lists, trackers, WIP’s and reports on behalf of the team
· Ownership in drafting well-structured and engaging press releases, pitches and alerts; secure approval; distribute and follow up
· Support in coordinating client events/press trips/media stays/digital amp; influencer campaigns in terms of supplier cost comparisons; venue research; flight research etc.
· Gain experience in creating content across different styles from pitches to social media posts to press releases
Media and Influencer Support:
· Take an interest in the media landscape in your market (Australia and/or New Zealand), gaining an understanding of how journalists work across different mediums and the challenges they face
· Proactively build and develop your media and influencer contacts - aim to have a strong database of ‘go-to’ contacts
· Create robust, accurate and well-thought-out media lists that are relevant to specific campaigns and clients, and ensure they remain up to date
Wider Agency Thinking:
· Be eager to learn more about the PR and digital landscape ask lots of questions and embrace trainings and further development opportunities
· Read a range of titles (print/online/newsletters) on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to increase your knowledge of key issue
