The Collecting Group is a true disruptor, offering high-quality ‘curated collectibles’ from around the globe, curated by specialists in their subject matter. It has headquarters in London, and offices in Munich, Sydney and Stockholm, as well as a strategic partnership in the UAE.

Collecting Cars, which launched in 2019, offers buyers and sellers a new way to transact online. It enables a much faster route to market than traditional auctions as well as dramatically reducing the costs involved, charging zero fees to the seller.

Launched in 2021 with the same principles of ‘lean’ auctions that are fast to list and sell, the Watch Collecting platform brought new energy to this enthusiast market.

The Collecting Group is now a team of 100+ around the world and we have exciting growth plans with new product extensions and new market entry ambitions.

The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a growing, diverse team that’s currently disrupting the traditional way vehicles are auctioned. As the Sales and Marketing Coordinator you’ll play a crucial role in assisting the team with their day-to-day sales activities, helping identify new opportunities and establishing new, improved ways of working.

Whilst ensuring your team are operating as efficiently and effectively as possible, you'll also have the opportunity to work closely with the global marketing team to oversee the organisation of local events within the community. Leaning on your can-do attitude and social media skills, you'll support local campaigns for paid social, implementing local initiatives to drive enquiries, bids and registrations.

Requirements

  • You ideally have experience within or exposure to a sales team, and understand how business development tasks are linked to company growth
  • You're familiar with a CRM (Salesforce preferred), and have an interest in improving processes to aid team performance
  • Social media - you're familiar with multiple platforms (inc Instagram and Facebook), and have an interest in learning how to engage an audience to support business growth
  • Community - you're comfortable building relationships with external partners, and have an interest in bringing like-minded people together
  • You're comfortable in a team-based setting, and able to communicate with, present to and influence others effectively
  • A keen interest in cars of all genres and eras, and knowledge of the collectible car market is highly advantageous
  • Prior experience within a fast-paced, scaling business is also preferred, but not mandatory


This role is based out of our Sydney based office, Mon - Fri. Current Australian work rights are required.
