We’re in search of a talented and passionate Full-Stack Developer to join our team, focusing on developing, maintaining, and enhancing best-in-class e-commerce experiences on Shopify Plus.
About the Role:
In this role, you'll be an integral part of a dedicated, cross-functional squad, including developers, designers, strategic consultants, and project managers. Reporting to our Technical Director, you will support the technology stream by driving innovation and maintaining best practices across a modern toolkit. Your contributions will significantly impact our client base, aiding them in realising their e-commerce goals through superior omni-channel experiences.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within your squad to support client goals and business objectives.
- Translate requirements and mockups into fully functioning e-commerce and digital solutions.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality work across various projects, adhering to deadlines.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across squads.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, providing solutions to both team members and clients.
- Pursue continuous improvement in performance and digital strategy implementation.
- Mentor fellow developers through constructive feedback amp; code reviews.
What We're Looking For:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within an agency environment.
- Expertise in HTML5+, ES6+, CSS3+, and JavaScript frameworks (Remix, React, TypeScript).
- Solid experience with Shopify liquid templates and API integrations.
- Proficiency in full-stack development (Node.js, AWS Lambda,) and creating responsive, mobile-first designs.
- Familiarity with GIT, third-party APIs, web performance optimisation, and accessibility standards.
- Agile and scrum experience, complemented by exceptional communication skills.
Bonus Points For:
- A strong appreciation for design and experience working alongside design teams.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, headless CMS (e.g., Contentful), and CSS in JS.
- Experience with other e-commerce platforms (Magento, BigCommerce, etc.).
- An enthusiastic approach to continuous learning and self-improvement.
