As the Junior AP Officer, you'll be responsible for managing end-to-end accounts payable processes to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Join our dynamic Finance team and help contribute to the overall efficiency and excellence of our financial operations at Marley Spoon Australia.
This role initially involves working 3-4 days a week, with the potential to move to full-time at a later stage.
Your role:
- Processing invoices in our ERP system
- Reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies
- Creating and updating expense reports
- Processing reimbursement forms
- Preparing bank deposits
- Entering financial transactions into internal databases
- Checking spreadsheets for accuracy
- Maintaining digital and physical financial records
- Issuing invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
- Participating in quarterly and annual audits
Requirements
This is you:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a relevant field
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Proficiency in MS Office use
- Great communication skills (written and verbal English)
