From site visits through to scheduling, quoting, invoicing, and much more - Fergus arranges all tasks in one place and gives our customers the insight they need to grow their business.

Founded in 2014 as the brainchild of Dan Pollard, a veteran NZ Plumber, who spent many years deep in the trenches. Eventually burning out and going bust, Dan realised that a trades business needs proper systems in place to keep it running without running its owner into the ground.

Fast-forward to today, we’re a Series B ($15m) global B2B SaaS business with rapidly scaling offices in New Zealand (HQ), Australia and the UK.

The opportunity:

With a main focus on the Australian market the Marketing Manager alongside the Country Manager will drive growth in Australia and NZ. The broad task is to understand the Australian and NZ "Tradie" (in particular Plumbers and Electrician's) and enable them to run their businesses more profitably and efficiently. The key objective is to drive trialists and accounts, through localised multichannel marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in B2B event and field marketing management.
  • Experience working on joint marketing programs with sales teams, partner teams and external organisations.
  • Successful track record of developing and executing lead generating field marketing programs.
  • Strong project management skills. Extremely organised and able to multitask.
  • Background in Marketing Automation and CRM experience (Hubspot or similar)

Interview Process:

  • Talent Team Screening (30 mins)
  • Competency / Behavioural Interview with our CEO and Country Manager (questions 35 minutes and presentation task 25 minutes)
  • Peer Stage Interview with 2 of the Fergus ELT team
