Requirements

We are looking for a Demand Planner to join our North Sydney based Demand Planning team on a permanent, full-time basis.

As a Demand Planner, you will lead all forecasting activities associated with your allocated product portfolio with cross-functional stakeholders. Specifically, this role will see you taking responsibility for:

  • Utilising a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain and ensure that accurate information is used to create demand plans.
  • Providing input to Supply Planning in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
  • Creating statistical forecasts and completing error analysis to improve/summarise forecasts.
  • Preparing and maintaining relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process
  • Refining systems and methods to continually improve forecasts so that GWA can better anticipate customer needs.

About you

Along with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a demand planning role, you’ll have:

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong experience with data analysis
  • A flexible approach and the ability to think laterally.
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build strong, effective relationships quickly.
  • A tertiary qualification/Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Commerce will be well regarded.
