We are looking for a passionate Assistant Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have impeccable problem solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- End of month processes including but not limited to journal entries, expense reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Regular bank reconciliations
- Management of fixed assets register
- Data integration and variance analysis
- Manage financial information and data
- Introduce and maintain accounting processes
- Maintain internal control systems
- Assistance with external audit queries
- Bring new ideas and initiatives to drive change in the accounting space
- Ad-hoc projects and further business analysis
Requirements
To be considered for the position you must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. You should also meet the following requirements:·
- Confident working with Microsoft Excel
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- An adaptable working attitude and positive approach are crucial to success in this role
- Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent

- Proficient with Oracle Netsuite
