Job Description

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Operations Specialists as they run the day to day operations of WA markets.
  • Engage and manage key external stakeholders, including local councils and community groups, to ensure alignment with regional regulations and to foster strong community relationships.
  • Collaborate with Beam’s central operations team to develop and implement processes and strategies across your markets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with overall company objectives.
  • Oversee the Profit and Loss management for each market, ensuring optimal financial performance and accountability. Implement strategies to maximise revenue and control costs.
  • Monitor market performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts, control expenses and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence and grow e-mobility in Western Australia.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and company standards in all operational activities.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in environments such as management consulting, finance, and fast growing startups
  • 1-2 years of experience managing people across multiple teams.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong communication and organisation skills; distilling and communicating information effectively to stakeholders and staff is a cornerstone of this position.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • You are a do-er; You are not afraid to get into the weeds of operations, whether it’s jumping in the van, moving vehicles, working at our warehouse. Everyone is part of the Beam team.
  • Analytical mindset; you use data to support your decision making and bring sound business judgement
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude; able to take initiative in a constantly changing work environment
  • Experience with creating and optimising processes
  • Strong Excel skills; relevant industry and SQL experience is a bonus
