At Entain Australia and New Zealand, as our Legal amp; Compliance team is expanding, we are on the hunt for a Paralegal to join our team. As a Paralegal, you'll be at the forefront of our legal and compliance initiatives, collaborating with our lawyers on a diverse range of intriguing legal and compliance matters.
In a heavily regulated and rapidly evolving industry, this opportunity will see you have the chance to engage with various teams including marketing, product and affiliate teams to ensure that all advertising meets our compliance standards.
Assisting our team with general administrative-related taskswe're seeking a proactive and organized individual with a robust work ethic. Attention to detail is non-negotiable, and a positive "can do" attitude is the key to success in this role.

Your day-to-day.
- Draft legal documents, including commercial agreements, terms and conditions, and Trade Promotions, using templates and precedents under guidance.
- Create and manage precedent documents to streamline legal processes and ensure consistency in documentation.
- Respond to information and document requests from regulators, assisting with customer complaint responses while maintaining compliance.
- Prepare correspondence, presentations, and format documents as directed, contributing to a polished and professional presentation.
- Review and provide feedback on advertising/marketing material for adherence to Australian Consumer Law and gambling regulations before publication.
What you'll bring...
- Previous experience in a corporate setting or Paralegal training acquired in either a law firm or in-house environment.
- Proven experience in a similar Paralegal role within a highly regulated environment.
- Preferred qualifications in Legal Studies, Compliance, Business, or related fields.
- Sound knowledge of Australian Consumer Law, is a critical asset for success in this role.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple project tasks effectively, think quickly, and adapt to an ever-changing environment. Strong attention to detail is essential for success.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with excellent collaboration skills to thrive in a team-oriented setting.
