About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Network Operations Specialist to join our Managed Services Provider Level 2 Team! Reporting to the Customer Technical Support Manager and working closely with other service team members, this role is responsible for providing Networking and Level 2 Service Desk Support to All Konica Minolta offices around Australia.

Requirements

  • Provide technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, remote management, and security.
  • Provide IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications and operating systems.
  • Administer hosted and cloud solutions for customers (internal amp; external) using technologies that meet their requirements.
  • Support disaster recovery solutions.
  • Provide remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services.
  • Monitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications and respond accordingly through service tickets.
  • System documentation maintenance and review in ITSM Tool.
  • Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction.

Who are we looking for?

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • CCNA/CCNP Certification or equivalent skillset
  • Working knowledge of Fortinet networking
  • Practical experience with remote support.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • High developed problem solving and on the spot troubleshooting.
  • Office 365 experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and partnering skills and ability to establish relationships and engage with stakeholders.
