Job Description
As a Construction Project Manager Intern, you will work closely with the Site Services team. You will interact with several team members and with guidance to gain knowledge of basic construction management fundamentals. This internship will entail from new construction to tenant improvement projects.
What You'll Work On•Under supervision, assist in reviewing and identifying that all As-Built drawings are current and comprehensive. Seek guidance when uncertainties arise.• Organize and categorize hard copies of drawings.• Identify and label addressed fire alarm points in building 630.• Confirm ADA compliance in building 630 using CalDag reference guide.• With Training confirm electrical polarity for all convenience electrical outlets in buildings 630. Seek guidance as needed.• Confirm CFM airflow on designated zones per the Mechanical Drawings.• Under oversight, assess and report on the feasibility of installing additional electrical vehicle charging stations. Collaborate with a supervisor to determine viability.• Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures. *• Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company. *• Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures. *• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.*Indicates an essential function of the role
What You Bring• High school diploma and currently enrolled in a college program or degree that involves Construction Management.• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills required• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and other standard office tools
