Job Description

The role

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Prestons based Sales team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Reporting directly to the State Commercial Manager, this role is responsible for managing the sales function with a primary focus on specification and business development within the architectural and interior designer community. Additionally, it involves developing and strengthening relationships with builders, developers, major plumbers, and merchants. As a key contributor, you will lead the sales function by developing and executing strategic business and promotional plans within the multi-residential and commercial building segment to provide sustainable revenue and gross margin growth through effective plan implementation.

About you

With 5-10 years of sales experience, specifically in the Aamp;D commercial market, you bring:

  • Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues and customers across all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to influence business leaders, distributors, and retailers for enhanced commercial outcomes.
  • Sales and marketing expertise, including the development and implementation of strategies and sales techniques, along with a solid understanding of product development.
  • Effective people management skills
