ABOUT THE ROLE

We are on the look out for one permanent full-time Reservations Supervisor as well as one six month fixed term full time position covering parental leave. We are after a passionate, polished, service orientated professional who can provide exceptional customer service for our guests whilst meeting business objectives. Our Reservations Supervisors are an integral part of our team providing daily supervision and guidance of the Reservations Consultants supporting the Customer Service amp; Sales Manager.

What will you be doing?

Your primary job is ensure each and every guest has an experience of a lifetime through customer service and training of new consultants. Together you will share special places and create lasting memories.

Your days might include:

  • The supervision and management of the Reservation Team on a day to day basis ensuring that hours and overtime are kept within budget requirements;
  • Ongoing training and development of the Reservations Team;
  • Monitor bookings, manifests, availability in accordance with demand and weather;
  • Run regular operational reports to monitor team and business activity;
  • Daily invoices, vessel number reconciliation and balancing of point of sale/website payments;
  • Manage and support with customer complaints;
  • Plan, prioritise and delegate work tasks;
  • Manage agent account enquiries and website partners product content/availability;
  • Greeting and assisting guests ensuring the guests experience is priority.

To be successful in this role, you will have/be the following:

  • Experience in creating and maintaining a supportive amp; positive team environment;
  • High level of interpersonal skills with a lead by example attitude;
  • Self motivated and adaptable with an eye for detail;
  • Strong Customer Service, Sales and excellent Relationship Management Skills;
  • Ability to multi-task competing priorities and a solution-based problem solver;
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills;
  • Proficient with MS Office and general administrative skills;
  • Confident with the use of technology and communication devices.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Minimum of 1 year customer service amp; sales experience and training/supervising a team;
  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation;
  • Experience working with booking/reservations systems;
  • Driver's Licence and Certificate II in Tourism or Business Admin is highly desirable:
  • Residing locally with permanent accommodation already acquired;
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and public holidays between the hours of 6:30am and 7:15pm
