About The Role
The Group Senior Analyst FPamp;A will form part of the group Corporate Finance team, providing highly visible essential financial planning and analysis support to our diverse group of companies, as well as Shareholders, PE Investors and Lenders. Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager of Finance, this role is instrumental in driving strategic decision-making processes through detailed financial analysis, modelling, budgeting, and reporting.
The Group Senior Analyst FPamp;A will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including the parent entity, private equity investors, financial institutions. executives, and trading business general managers, to deliver insightful financial information and support effective business strategies. In addition, the role will take on business partnering responsibilities to the General Managers of the Corporate divisions, including financial steering, business case preparation and project support.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain financial models for group and trading businesses, analysing and forecasting performance.
- Budget Leadership: Lead annual budget development, ensuring Group alignment.
- Integrated Financial Models: Lead three-way models (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for strategic planning.
- Scenario Analysis: Analyse scenarios, assessing impacts on enterprise financial performance.
- Cashflow Expertise: Analyse cashflow patterns, offer insights on forecasting, liquidity, and working capital optimisation.
- Stakeholder Support: Provide information for Mamp;A, offering insights to senior management.
- Clear Communication: Communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial colleagues.
- Engage in projects to improve corporate reporting processes
- Cost Efficiency Oversight: Own tracking and reporting of cost efficiency, ensuring effective initiatives
