It's no secret that Aegros is expanding rapidly! An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Specialist to join our Therapeutics team as a permanent employee, full time at Macquarie Park. Reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for supporting and delivering identified production and process work to develop and improve operations.

What you will be involved in
- Working on projects relating to quality improvements, process development, systems development, optimisation, and production execution
- Facilitating cross-functional problem-solving activities and knowledge transfer from events
- Developing and improving production process documentation
- Supporting and collaborating across the Production team and other related teams
- Assisting in operations and optimisation of manufacturing equipment and processes in a cGMP environment.
- Ensuring SOPs, WI’s and other process and operations documentation are clear and concise, providing effective and efficient instruction
- Supporting knowledge transfer; providing training and support to Production team and support process improvement
- Supporting Validation, CI work and applying Lean 6 Sigma methodologies
- Carrying out projects relating to quality improvements, process development, systems development, optimisation, and production execution; to achieve outcomes within defined constraints (safety, cost, time and quality);
- Analysing and Reporting progress and outcomes both internally and with collaborating organisations.
Requirements
What we would expect from you:
- 4-5 years’ experience of GMP working in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology or other related industries
- Experience in research, operations, or production execution in regulated products and GXP environments is desirable
- Prior experience within Biological/blood processing/sterile injectable experience
- Awareness of quality systems and the need to develop and follow SOPs, particularly in a cGMP environment
- Experience in project management and delivery
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Good record keeping skills;
- Attention to detail, careful and conscientious;
- Ability to work well in a team
- Able to work in shifts as required
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- A Self-starter with passion to learn and grow.
