Job Description

It's no secret that Aegros is expanding rapidly! An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Senior IT Manager, to provide support for all administrative and operational functions of the Aegros Business Information Systems, but not limited to the management of systems, equipment, and operational processes.

What you will be involved in

• Provide first and mid-level IT support.

• Troubleshoot IT software and hardware issues.

• Ensuring all tickets/requests are resolved efficiently and timely.

• IT setup for new staff members.

• Coordinating IT software and hardware purchases.

• Management of internal security software.

• Ensuring the installation, configuration, upgrading and maintenance of allocated IT infrastructure in timely manner and within budget.

• Assist in maintaining the IT Asset Register.

• Ensuring that all IT systems operate at optimum service levels as determined by the Senior IT Manager.

• Assist in the creation of forms and other online processes.

• Developing user guides and training materials and coordinating adequate staff training in consultation with HR.

• Assist in investigating and reporting on new IT software’s fit within the organisation.

• Contribute to the selection and cost-effective management of relevant IT external partners including support, software, and hardware providers.

• Coordinating with external support providers to develop and manage the company’s Business Information Systems and acting as local administrator.

• Assisting with the planning, implementation amp; testing of disaster recovery systems including data and hardware backup system to prevent any data loss and IT down time.

• Assist the Senior IT Manager as requested.

• Other related tasks as requested.

Requirements

What we would expect from you:

• Associate degree in Computer Science/IT- related area or equivalent work experience preferred.

• Minimum 3 years in a similar position or high-level support functions.

• Sound written and verbal communication skills plus attention to detail.

• Exceptional time management, organisational and administrative skills.

• Ability to work both independently but also within a collaborative team environment.

• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and external stakeholders.

• Ability to work in fast paced and constantly changing environment.

• Exceptional multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.

• Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to work productively with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.

• A combination of relevant experience or education/training in a corporate IT support position

• Relevant training/experience in first level IT Support and IT systems.

• Up to date knowledge of general IT systems and current developments.

• Advanced computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint

• Knowledge of PowerShell, Power Apps, Office macros would be desirable.

• Ideally, prior working experience and understanding of quality systems particularly in a cGMP environment such as a pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical organisation.

• Ideally, experience with technical aspects of cGMP.
