As Visual Content Producer you'll play a crucial role in creating photo and video assets for our family of brands. In close collaboration with the Marketing and Culinary teams, you will proactively manage the execution of photo and video shoots, ensuring high-quality outputs for a range of channels, including our website, social media, and advertising.
This is a part-time position of 4 full days per week (total 30 hours per week).
Your role:
- Produce visual content across photo and video outputs that delivers against brand/visual guidelines and creative briefs for Marley Spoon’s subscription brands, covering website, social media, and advertising (for video, this includes smartphone videography for social media-first content)
- Manage weekly on-site and off-site photo/video shoots
- Oversee daily shoot operations, coordinating with senior Culinary, Test Kitchen and Marketing managers
- Be responsible for the end-to-end production process, from creative brief response and shoot planning to post-production liaison and file management
- Manage the care and maintenance of camera and studio equipment
- Work weekly with the Head of Content, Content amp; Social Media Manager and Culinary Creatives for project planning and post-production
Requirements
This is you:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a professional photographer, preferably in a studio or in-house environment
- Minimum 1 year of experience in videography and/or smartphone video production, with a track record in working with social media-first video content
- Proven track record of producing high-quality visual content for diverse channels.
- Confidence with setting up and operating photography/videography equipment and tools, including DSLR camera and smartphone
- Naturally organised with excellent attention to detail
- Collaborator who works well across different teams and functions
- Strong creative eye with the ability to apply brand guidelines and visual guidelines to content production tasks
- Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop (including for image retouching) and Capture One; knowledge of the full Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut and is preferred
- Keen interest in digital-first business, AI and creative content trends
