We’re looking for a Senior Applications Engineer (Battery Storage) to lead the technical engagement with customers including the execution of joint developments and customer projects.

The Senior Applications Engineer (Battery Storage) will be accountable for delivering high quality technical outcomes and experiences for customers that integrate Relectrify technology into their products.

The position offers the flexibility of hybrid work between home and our office in Melbourne. Some domestic and international travel for customer projects will be required from time to time.

• Lead joint projects with customers developing energy storage products with Relectrify CellSwitch technology.
• Effectively manage both internal and external stakeholders, especially expectations between customers and Relectrify.
• Drive more effective delivery of technical solutions to customers including improving tools and processes.

Requirements

Applicants must have full working rights in Australia and be willing to undergo pre-employment background checks (i.e. working rights, criminal history, and employment references).

• Relevant engineering qualifications
• Extensive experience in battery storage and power electronics technologies
• Extensive experience in customer applications for battery storage including related technologies (e.g. renewable generation)
• Demonstrated experience delivering technical customer projects on time and within budget
• Demonstrated professionalism with interactions at all levels of collaborating organisations

• Experience in start-up / early growth-stage companies and experience shepherding disruptive technology products into established markets
