Requirements
Experience Required:
· 8+ years of business analysis experience
· Successful BA experience of at least 3 or more projects from initiation to implementation
· Hands on experience with Agile and waterfall methodologies
· Able to use Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office Tools
· Brilliant stakeholder management skills
· Impressive communication skills
Desired Skills:
· Functional consulting experience in Energy and utilities (particularly power sector)
· Extensive knowledge in Enterprise Work and Asset Management, Supply chain functions, Customer care and metering amp; billing functions in Power, Water and Gas sector
· Experience in working in multi-vendor models.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
· Capturing End to End Business requirements: workshopping collaboratively to define user stories and use cases and/or business requirements and testing these requirements with end-user focus groups either internal or external; and recommending direction to the business based on the cost/benefits trade-offs as this is done.
· Performing Requirements traceability through mapping of business requirements to user stories, monitoring the evolving solution design and clarifying or asserting the Business need to be fulfilled in the solution with internal or external parties.
· Manage change to requirements within programs; ensuring impact analysis is completed by other program members.
· Analyse and review alternate solutions and provide input to Business areas on the most appropriate solution.
· Ensuring affected Business areas understand the solution and that their operation can support the project Business case.
· Guiding the customer towards accepting viable and valid solutions and ensuring the final solution supports the stated Business benefits, both functionally and unguided user acceptance testing via user focus groups.
· Support E2E Testing; Test Strategy; support functional and usability test case development and incident impact analysis.
· Verify requirements through user test case development, and incident impact analysis and seek approval of user acceptance testing within user focus groups.
· Assure application of relevant standards (regulatory, legislative, internal, and operational); and that these standards are reflected in their requirements deliverables on the programs they are working on.
· Ensuring delivery of high-value requirements.
· Evaluate business processes and systems, uncovering areas for improvement and recommending appropriate action.
· Lead reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies.
· Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders; document and effectively communicate the results of your efforts.
· Formulate system requirements, plans, and documentation.
