The Position:
The IT Technician will be responsible to provide quality support and assistance to the Respect environment, staff and residents. The role’s primary aim is to ensure the proficient day-to-day functioning of the Information and Technology services and solutions. Working onsite in Hobart, the role will focus on level 1 and 2 activities. The IT Technician will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our technological infrastructure and systems, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and solutions to maintain optimal performance and productivity.
Key duties include:
- Provide support for all IT-related matters.
- Manage all Desktop, Linux, and Windows infrastructure.
- Achieve agreed service level agreements.
- Develop and maintain knowledge base documentation.
- Manage procurement activities and logistics of equipment requests.
- Contribute to IT-related projects.
- Work with third-party vendors as required.
- Other associated tasks as directed by Respect.
Requirements
What you can bring to the role:
- A completed ITIL foundations certification (desirable)
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or Fundamentals certification.
The following technical knowledge is strongly desired:
- G-Suite / Google workspace.
- Office 365.
- Printer management and administration.
- Microsoft Server. Microsoft Windows desktop Operating Systems.
- Microsoft Active Directory.
