The Twinkl Beyond team at Twinkl Australia create resources for high school teachers and educators. As we continue to expand the support we offer, we need to grow our team, and that’s where you come in!
We are looking for someone to join our team as a marketing assistant. This fun role will give you the opportunity to play a key part in developing and marketing the Twinkl Beyond brand. We are looking for a creative, social media-savvy individual who would enjoy the chance to post relevant, engaging and informative content on behalf of the Twinkl Beyond team. We are well-established on Facebook and Instagram and are looking to extend into other channels including Pinterest and TikTok.

Your weekly activity could include:
Creating engaging posts and content for our social media channels
Scheduling content for publishing
Responding and engaging with members of our social media channels
Sharing Twinkl resources and using your expertise to advise our followers
Developing and building relationships within our communities
Reaching out to members in other groups and directing them back to our communities
Spotting trends within the secondary teacher community and beyond, and being able to respond/pivot quickly to make the most of these trends.
Interacting with customers on social media platforms, being the voice of Twinkl Beyond and offering advice and support where needed
Building up the social media channels and increasing our following
Copywriting for social media feed posts
Gathering insights from our community to share with your team
Responding to line manager queries and attending weekly meetings (via video call)
The Beyond team has a friendly working atmosphere. Good communication, both conveying your ideas and listening to those of others, are essential for this role.
In this role, you will learn:
How to write copy in the Twinkl tone of voice and how to schedule social media posts
How to analyse social media data and how to optimise the times at which you schedule your posts

Requirements
To succeed in the role, you will:
Be a fantastic communicator who thrives when working in a close-knit team
Have excellent spelling and grammar
Be passionate about using social media to create strong and supportive communities
Be able to work under own initiative with minimum supervision but also as part of a team
Be organised and adaptive, able to work to tight deadlines and manage your time effectively
Be able to work collaboratively
We're interested in anyone who meets one, or a combination of the following:
Recent high school classroom experience
Good knowledge of social media, with high competence in using Facebook and Instagram in particular
You may have previous experience running social media channels for yourself or a small business
Willingness to be flexible around working times. Being able to work half your working week during weekends and evenings. Hours can be agreed upon between you and your line manager to work office hours.
