As part of delivering no better experience to our customers, we are looking for an Onsite Operations Supervisor to join our team in Sydney. This role requires you to work in the warehouse of a large customer and facilitate the packaging, labelling, staging and loading of freight into carrier trucks.
Requirements
As an Onsite Operations Supervisor with efm Logistics, your role will involve the following:
- Monitor safety amp; compliance with OHamp;S / WHS for the efm site members
- Maintain driver log for arrivals amp; departures of vehicles on site
- Reporting of incidents occurred in line with customer’s WHS Incident reporting policy
- Participate in any training organised by the customer where efm staff compliance is required
- Complete site induction training for all new site employees, casuals, visitors as required efm induction amp; customer’s induction policies where applicable
- Reject freight that is not packaged and/or not labelled correctly
- Cage packing to comply with Chain of Responsibility requirements amp; with a view to ensure safe transport
- Staging of freight in accordance with the allocated staging area at the customers’ site
- Ensure that all carrier trucks are loaded safely and strapped down correctly prior to departure and all necessary paperwork signed off
- Conduct freight loading activities during peak times / busy period, provide / manage leave coverage for efm onsite resources
- Ensure all freight is loaded in accordance with all relevant legislation
- Manage adherence to loading schedules based on freight volumes
- Monitor and report on loading accuracy monthly
- Continually maintain all required documentation relating to site operations (Standard operating procedures, loading policy, load restraint policy, risk matrix, other policies and procedures as applicable)
