• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of presentation and taste.
• Develop and create new recipes that meet dietary and nutritional requirements.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies necessary for cooking.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with restaurant management to plan and execute menus.
• Stay updated with industry trends and techniques to continually improve culinary skills.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef/Cook in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Formal culinary training or certification is preferred.
• Experience working in a hotel or resort setting is a plus.
