THE ROLE

An exciting career opportunity for an Accounts Assistant and/or recent graduate looking to build a career in accounting. The role is an integral part of our Finance Team and is responsible for key aspects of the accounting function. To be successful in this role you be an energetic person with a passion for numbers, accuracy and accounting who enjoys working in a fast-paced. dynamic, fun and supportive team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day-to-day accounting tasks, including weekly, monthly amp; adhoc invoice payment runs and accounts receivable
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial statements through meticulous reconciliation processes
  • Collaborate with the finance team to facilitate month-end and year-end close procedures
  • Prepare financial reports and analyse to identify insights and trends
  • Support the CEO by contributing to budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Actively participate in refining and optimising internal accounting procedures
  • Provide back up Receptionist support

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Degree qualified and/or Accounting Diploma
  • Experience with MS Dynamics, HR3 and ConnectWise desirable
  • Superior Microsoft Excel and Office skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Great attention to detail
