The role
As a Financial Accountant at Civica, you will be an essential pillar of our Corporate Finance team, playing a pivotal role in maintaining our financial health and steering strategic decisions. Day to day you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive monthly management reports that provide insights into our financial performance. Your attention to detail and data-driven approach will ensure accurate and insightful reporting that guides our decision-making process. You will take charge of the financial accounting function, ensuring that transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled, and compliant with industry standards. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of our financial records. This role will also see you maintain strong relationships within the wider Civica finance network and work closely alongside other internal stakeholders.

About you
You have previous experience working in a similar role within a medium size organisation. You’ve proven experience working with Excel with a strong working knowledge of Pivot tables. You pride yourself on your strong attention to detail and have highly developed analytical skills. You’ve excellent communication skills and can build strong relationships with internal stakeholders. You’re confident mentoring junior members within the finance team and lead by example in your day-to-day work.
Ideally you’ll hold an accounting or equivalent business qualification and are familiar with SUN and Workday systems.
