Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with managerial experience to join a progressive and purpose-driven aged care provider to support our aged care homes across Tasmania, New South Wales and Victoria.

The Position:

We are seeking a full-time Roaming Facility Manager. The Roaming Facility Manager will support our 21 Aged Care homes based in Tasmania, New South Wales and Victoria. This opportunity requires the successful candidate to be a Registered Nurse.

The Roaming Facility Manager will have the flexibility to travel to various locations, supporting our residential aged care homes as allocated. You will report to the Chief of Residential Aged Care and will be responsible for supporting Facility Managers with the day-to-day operational, personnel and associated matters at our aged care homes.

The successful candidate can be located anywhere in Tasmania, New South Wales or Victoria but must be able to regularly travel to each of our sites as allocated.

Requirements

Your Profile:

  • Demonstrated managerial experience in the aged care sector.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Sound and contemporary clinical and operational knowledge.
  • Highly developed leadership, communication, and change management skills.
  • The ability to relate to the elderly.
  • A pragmatic and outcome-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel to various facilities across VIC and TAS
