About the Role

  • Full -Time Permanent
  • Classification:SCHADS Award Level 8 with a salary range of$120,457- $125,180per annum + Superannuation
  • Salary packaging arrangements providing tax benefits available for living and entertainment expenses increasing your take home income where part of your wage is paid tax free each pay, savings thousands in tax each year
  • Location: Head Office, Preston VIC.

About your new role

The IT Report Developer is responsible for the development of new reports and maintenance of existing reports as well as providing analytical and technical support for Business Intelligence (BI) activities. The role will liaise and consult with IT Business Analysts, System Analysts and Reporting Analyst to develop new reports to required specifications, manage data dictionaries and models, manage internal reporting systems, prepare reports, carry out data analysis and stewardship tasks, and liaise with stakeholders with regards to changes in data collection and database functions which may impact on reporting processes.

What you will bring to the role?

  • Formal tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • Strong TSQL coding experience
  • Previous experience in a database development, administration and report-writing role
  • Excellent knowledge of a wide array of data storage technologies such as MSSQL and other SQL databases as well as document centric databases
  • Expert level skills in designing and implementing ETLs using data aggregation tools
  • Knowledge and experience working with DAMA DMBOK 2
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams
  • Demonstrated analysis skills and the ability to deliver against stakeholders needs
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a diverse team
  • Proven ability to establish positive working relationships with people across all levels of the organisation
