The Purpose:

As the Senior Technical Project Manager, you will take ownership of technical project deliveries for key business or technology stakeholders. In doing so, you will work closely with project managers across the business implementation team and other teams to successfully deliver outcomes.

Day to day you will manage stakeholders’ expectations, project planning, project status reporting and technical projects for AP+ products.

You will be responsible for:

  • Follow AP+ project framework for project delivery.
  • Analysing, planning and delivery of technical projects and implementation.
  • Manage contracts such as statement of work and high-level estimates.
  • Work closely with product and business implementation teams.
  • Manage budgets that relate to your projects.
  • Manage vendors and contracts.
  • Ensure all deliveries are of the highest quality and bug free in addition to being on time and within budget.

In order for you to be successful in the role, you’ll have proven experience with:

  • MS Project, JIRA and similar tools.
  • Waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Australian payments knowledge such as NPP, DE BECS, Mobile payments, settlement, Bpay etc.
  • Implementation of larger projects where budget was more than $5m.
  • Leadership of teams and stakeholders.
  • Good technical knowledge of platforms and standards such as EMV, ISO/ISO20022 global version, AS2805.
  • Experience with contracts and statement of work (SOW) including negotiations.
