About the Role:

As a Project Accountant at CDC Data Centres, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the end-to-end finance aspects of the construction of our new data centres. Working hand in hand with the Construction Team, you will take ownership of the financial aspects of design and construction, ensuring accurate reporting, analysis, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Duties include:

  • Attend monthly Project Control Group Meetings to identify and address commercial and accounting issues affecting project costs.
  • Provide detailed cost analysis for multiple projects, contributing to effective Capex decision-making.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts, variance analyses, and Project Accounting reports for timely distribution to the Board and senior stakeholders.
  • Act as the key contact with suppliers, proactively addressing invoice and financing issues.
  • Support the Development team with ad-hoc queries and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

About You:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong stakeholder engagement skills with qualifications within Accounting (CA/CPA) or relative working experience. Your keen interest in technology, systems, and efficient processes will contribute to the success of our projects.

Working Rights:

Due to the nature of the clients that CDC work with applicants who wish to apply for this position will need Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance.
