Job Description

Are you an experienced Facility Manager looking for your next opportunity to work in a dynamic leadership role, driving clinical and operational excellence? If you're driven by the desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents in a residential aged care home, this key leadership role could be your perfect fit. Join our team and take on the responsibility of ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

About Us:

At Respect Group Limited, we are not the average aged care provider; we’re a rapidly growing, progressive and purpose driven not-for-profit organisation providing residential aged care, home care and retirement living services to an increasing number of Australians. With a presence across Tasmania, Victoria, and New South Wales, we take pride in our resident-centric approach and the supportive, respectful environment we foster for our dedicated workforce.

The Opportunity:

We're on the lookout for skilled and enthusiastic Facility Managers to join our team at St Ann's, Hobart, Tasmania on a full-time basis. The Facility Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational, personnel and associated matters across the home. The role will ensure that all professional care and ancillary support services are delivered in accordance with Respect's values, policies and procedures; and to ensure that the home is managed and maintained within the approved budget, accreditation standards, compliance and reporting requirements.

The successful candidate will be well supported by Respect’s corporate services team of specialists including clinical, quality, finance, people and culture, procurement, maintenance, and catering services.

Requirements

Your Profile:

  • Demonstrated managerial experience in the aged care sector.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Sound and contemporary clinical and operational knowledge.
  • Highly developed leadership, communication, and change management skills.
  • The ability to relate to the elderly.
  • A pragmatic and outcome-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with accuracy and attention to detail.

To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.

Benefits

In return for your dedication and expertise, we offer:

  • Competitive remuneration and benefits, including the 15% Aged Care Work Value increase.
  • Attractive pay incentives, along with not-for-profit salary packaging.
  • Up to $5,000 relocation allowance* to assist with relocation (if applicable).
  • The chance to engage in purposeful work within a values-driven organisation.
  • Long-term job security in an industry resistant to economic fluctuations.
  • A thriving, positive organisational culture that prioritizes well-being.
  • Abundant prospects for personal and professional growth through learning and development initiatives.
