ABOUT THE ROLE:
We have a new opportunity within our Finance Operations team. As the Finance Business Partner you will have a pivotal role in providing insight to senior stakeholders around the financial efficiency of the Journey Beyond Group
This position focuses on ensuring that spending aligns with budgets and forecasts while actively engaging in the analysis of costs and cost allocations. The Corporate Business Partner collaborates closely with Corporate General Managers (GMs) to formulate accurate and timely forecasts, challenge and refine new business cases, provide visibility of whole-of-group SGamp;A pool, and take ownership of tracking and reporting on cost efficiency measures. This role demands a hands-on approach, strong analytical skills, and a keen understanding of financial principles and business operations.
This is a full-time permanent position, working in our Journey Beyond Head office in North Terrace as well as the opportunity to WFH (Friday).
Key responsibilities will include:
TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar, along with previous experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably in a corporate finance or business partnering role.
You will also have strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights, experience in creating and evaluating business cases, assessing financial feasibility, and conducting sensitivity analyses.
You will be reliable, professional, organised and show initiative, while also demonstrating a strong customer service orientation and have an exceptional business acumen.
