Role Purpose:

We are seeking an experience Event Coordinator to work in a 12-month Max Term, Part Time (3- 4 days per week) contract role, where you will be responsible for leading the overall coordination effort required for the successful delivery of AP+ events program.

As the Event Coordinator you will be responsible for:

  • Delivery of our 400-delegate inaugural industry summit in March 2024.
  • Managing relationship with our third party events provider, executing the marketing plan, ticket sales and enquiries, sponsors engagement and stakeholder management.
  • Execution of AP+ sponsorship of industry partners, including partner engagement, asset design and creation.
  • Developing marketing collateral to support sponsorships, events, and other initiatives.
  • Supporting AP+ events including forums and functions, coordinating with venues, caterers, AV and content production.
  • Managing all AP+ merchandise.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, including end to end event management and delivery.
  • Be a creative and strategic thinker coupled with the ability to drive through execution.
  • Have demonstrated project management skills, managing a range of internal and external stakeholders, budgets and plans to mutually achieve outcomes.
  • Have incredible attention to detail.
  • Be adaptable and capable of managing through change and uncertainty.
  • Be a strong collaborator across diverse and senior stakeholders.
  • Show curiosity in all things, balancing individual perspectives and insights with ability to identify practical paths to drive initiatives forward.
