As an Director - Consulting - Data/Analytics , you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients get the most out of their data. Your responsibilities will involve designing and building robust and scalable data platforms, engineering data-powered software applications and products, and enabling engineering and data-driven business-focused use-cases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and software engineers, to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and implement innovative data engineering solutions.

- Lead and manage a team of data platform engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of data platforms.
- Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Architect and implement scalable and robust data platforms using modern technologies.
- Develop and maintain data-powered software applications and products.
- Drive data engineering best practices across the organization.
- Perform code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering.
- Strong knowledge of modern data platforms and engineering principles.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
- Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
